Lewis Hamilton's penalty points in the Russian GP have been revoked.
The FIA came to the conclusion because Hamilton followed his team’s instructions in situations that led to penalties, as evidenced by team radio discussions.
It ended up sanctioning the Mercedes garage with a fine of 25,000 euros.
Hamilton received two five-second time fines in Sochi on Sunday, due to his practice starts before the start of the GP.
F1 drivers can receive penalty points for violations of the rules, and if they receive 12 penalty points within 12 months, the result will be an automatic ban on driving one race.
Hamilton currently has a total of eight points.
