In a beach pavilion in Zandvoort, a big fire started in the night from Saturday to Sunday. That same night a fire broke out at a metal recycling company in Deventer. A lot of smoke is released in both fires, the safety regions warn.
The safety regions warn local residents of both the Zandvoort and Deventer fires to keep windows and doors closed and to switch off mechanical ventilation.
The fire in Zandvoort broke out just before half past three in a beach tent. One hour after the fire broke out, GRIP-1 was scaled up. This means that emergency services had to cooperate due to the scale of the incident.

In Deventer, a big fire also rages in the night from Saturday to Sunday. The fire, which broke out at a metal recycling company on Danzigweg, causes large clouds of smoke. This fire was also scaled up to GRIP-1.
According to RTV Oost came off the emergency services on a report of a burglary at the company. The flames burst out of the roof on the spot.
