Kimi Räikkönen, the Finnish charmer of Formula One, will start his career in the 18th season in the royal class of motorsport, when the F1 series, ravaged by the coronavirus, is finally launched this weekend in Austria.
Räikkönen said his news on Thursday at the dawn of the season, and at least the long break has not bored the experienced driver's words.
- The break felt very much like a summer vacation or a winter break, there was little difference. Well, fewer people outside and grocery stores except the shops closed, so after all, it was a little different. But we had a nice time at home, first in Finland and then for the last month in Switzerland. I played various sports, and I enjoyed them, Räikkönen described the past months.
And as always, Räikkönen heard curiosity about the continuation of his career. That is, "When do you do it, or have you made a decision about your future?".
- The correct answer is, of course, before the end of the year. But I do not know. We haven’t driven a race, of course the situation is very weird this season, so let’s wait and see what happens.

The 13-year-old world champion, who drove a staggering 313 formula GPs in his career, also made an impact on social media during the corona break.
Videos of 5-year-old Robin Räikkönen going at the wheel of a go-kart ride have aroused admiration.
- She seems to enjoy it. Some days he drives more than others, but that’s the way it is with children: one day they like to do something, the next day something else. But the most important thing is that he enjoys that. He’s gotten a little faster, I don’t keep up with the rental cards on the swing anymore. I would need more horsepower. But by the way, all is well, Räikkönen described.
