U.S. President Donald Trump plans to postpone the G7 summit scheduled for June until the fall. He also plans to invite more countries to the fall meeting.

According to Trump, the G7 does not properly represent world events. For him, the group is outdated. Trump would also like to invite Russia, South Korea, Australia and India to the fall meeting.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said earlier that she did not plan to attend the June meeting due to the coronavirus situation.

In addition to the United States, the group includes Italy, Japan, Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.
