The Finnish Counter-Strike team ENCE started the DreamHack Masters Spring tournament with a win.

In its first match, ENCE knocked out HLTV's second-placed Na`Vin on the world list with a score of 2-0 (16-12 Train, 16-14 Dust II). ENCE started the match as an underdog - the Finns are ranked 20th on the list.

ENCE, led by Miikka “suNny” Kemppi, received six rounds as Train terrorists. After the half-exchange, Na`V's lead rose to 11-6, but then ENCE's milling began. The Finns rose convincingly alongside and then passed. ENCE won the map with a score of 16-12.

Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen secures the map victory for ENCE by destroying the entire Na`Vi team alone:

In Dust, ENCE set the pace from the start. The Finns led as many as 8–2 as police officers, but the situation was 10–5 in the case of a half-exchange. The won pistol round did not break Na`Vin's spine, as the match still became quite an exciting play. ENCE led 12-9, but the victory was confirmed by a reading of 16-14.

Olkkonen overcomes the tight 1vs1 situation:

18-year-old Olkkonen was the talk of the evening, particularly the police side for his performance in Train. Olkkonen was ENCE's best player in terms of statistics: 48 kills, 39 deaths, 81.6 damage points per round and a 1.25 rating.

The young super promise that joined ENCE in April has won all six matches they have played with the team so far.
