Frankfurt / Main (dpa) - Price gains in the auto sector in particular have helped the Dax to another record high. However, losses in the heavily weighted shares of Bayer and BASF dampened the optimism on the stock exchange only slightly. The leading German index ended the day with an increase of 0.29 percent to 13 783.89 points. In early trading it had temporarily climbed to 13 795 points. The euro recently cost $ 1.0839.
