Hamburg (dpa) - The television world mourns for a real Hamburg boy: The actor Jan Fedder died at the age of 64. A Hamburg spokesman for the honor was found dead in his apartment, said a police spokesman for the German Press Agency. Above all, Fedder had announced the ARD evening series “Großstadtrevier”: Since 1992, he had been investigating Dirk Matthies there as a Hamburg police officer. In 2006 he received the German Television Award for his portrayal of the unemployed ship engineer in the Siegfried Lenz film “The Man in the Stream”.
