Madrid (dpa) - Negotiations at the world climate conference in Madrid continue. The closing plenary, which was actually planned for the evening, was pushed further and further back at night. Observers expect movement in the morning at the earliest, since they should work on texts again. Such delays are not uncommon in the UN climate negotiations. 196 countries and the EU are involved. Key issues include: formulation of the final declaration, money for climate damage in poorer countries and international cooperation on climate protection.
