Berlin (dpa) - IG Metall pushes in view of the upheaval in the automotive industry on concrete safeguards for employees. The talks on the "car summit" of the Federal Government in Berlin had been constructive, said union leader Jörg Hofmann. The result is still too unconcrete - especially in the current explosive situation in the supply industry. However, the IG Metall welcomed the increase in the purchase price for electric cars and that the expansion of the charging network should finally be tackled.
