British agents have started to identify the 39 bodies that were found in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday in a truck near the British town of Grays. Two houses in Northern Ireland, possibly owned by the arrested 25-year-old truck driver, have been searched by the Northern Irish police force, BBC News writes .
The Northern Irishman is still stuck on suspicion of murder. The truck was moved to another location on Wednesday for the investigation.
Agents expect that identifying the teenager and 38 adults will take "some time".
The vehicle probably traveled from the Belgian town of Zeebrugge to the east of the United Kingdom on Wednesday morning. There it was checked just after arrival, after which the bodies were found.
The truck, in the name of an Irish citizen, has a Bulgarian license plate but a British container. The British police force therefore suspects that no people of Bulgarian descent have anything to do with the case.
