Strasbourg (dpa) - Outgoing European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker looks back on his five-year term today. The 64-year-old takes stock in a speech in front of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Juncker's term ends on October 31st. However, until his successor Ursula von der Leyen takes over, he remains provisionally President of the Commission. Actually, Leyen should have officially started her new job on November 1st - but since her staffing package for the commission is not yet complete, the timetable had to be changed.
