Berlin (AP) - German Chancellor Angela Merkel has again called Turkey to suspend their military operations in northern Syria. The offensive brings in the already long-suffering country even more suffering, said Merkel in the Bundestag. At the same time, the Chancellor criticized that the offensive with regard to the terrorist organization IS brought new uncertainty in the region and in Europe. The previous successes in the fight against the IS, which had become substantially possible through the local Kurds, could be canceled out again.
