Tokyo (AP) - In Japan, the fierce typhoon "Hagibis" has caused the first damage. In the neighboring province of Chiba in Tokyo, individual houses were damaged by squalls, as Japanese television reported. Several residents suffered injuries when the roof of a residential building was swept away. There were also reports of power outages. Thousands of people in the country were called to safety. The cyclone moves over the Pacific to the island kingdom and should meet on Saturday evening (local time) on land.
