Quito (AP) - Ecuadorian leader Lenín Moreno has imposed a curfew on continuing protests in Quito. This will facilitate the actions of the security forces against the violent riots, according to a message announced by the President via Twitter. In Quito and other cities in Ecuador, rallies have been held for ten days against the cancellation of subsidies for fuel prices. The leadership of the indigenous peoples of Ecuador had agreed to engage in a direct dialogue with Moreno shortly before the curfew imposed.
