Berlin (AP) - The Federal Cabinet has passed the last controversial climate package. On the one hand, these are concrete projects with which Germany intends to reach its climate targets for the year 2030 - the so-called climate protection program. On the other hand, with the climate protection act adopted today, the government determines how measures to combat global warming are to be implemented and monitored. Germany wants to reduce its emissions of climate-damaging greenhouse gases by 55 percent by 2030 compared to 1990 levels.
