Istanbul (AP) - Following the announcement of an imminent military offensive in northern Syria, Turkey has moved troops on the Turkish-Syrian border. The state news agency Anadolu reports of nine transporters with military vehicles and a bus with soldiers who had reached the southeastern Turkish border town of Akcakale. President Erdogan announced yesterday in Ankara that Turkey is about to launch a military operation in Syria, which will be fought "both from the air and with ground troops."
