Istanbul (AP) - In northern Syria threatens a new bloody exchange between the Turkish army and Kurdish units. Turkey is about to launch a military operation in Syria "both from the air and with ground forces," said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. A spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces, led by Kurdish militia YPG, announced fierce opposition. Erdogan justified the planned offensive with Turkish security interests.
