Madrid (AP) - Real Madrid has averted the second defeat in the Champions League with great difficulty. Two weeks after the 3-0 opening defeat at Paris Saint-German, the Royal came against Bruges only 2-2 (0-2).

Emmanuel Bonaventure had put the visitors ahead in the Santiago Bernabeu stadium with two goals (9th and 39th minute). Real captain Sergio Ramos scored the first goal after 55 minutes and Casemiro equalized just before the final whistle after submission by national player Toni Kroos (85 ').

Real coach Zinedine Zidane relinquished the ex-Bayern player James and the Welshman Gareth Bale. The cumbersome Madrilenians were over-scoring, but the visitors were more effective. Bonaventure exploited the third chance of the Belgians for the second goal.

At halftime Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, guiltless of conceding goals, had to be replaced due to stomach problems, for whom Alphonse Areola came. The Madrilenians increased the pace and smelled morning air after Ramos hit video evidence. Five minutes before the end of the game, the home side of the transfer of captain Ruud Vormer played because of rough foul play in the cards. With the next attack Casemiro scored the acclaimed compensation after a strong free kick by Kroos.
