Weather: More than 60 dead in bad weather in northern India

New Delhi (dpa) - In heavy rains during the monsoon season, more than 60 people have died in northern India. Most deaths were caused by collapsing houses, it was said by civil protection. Others had been killed by lightning or drowned in the floods. Since Thursday sweeping storms with heavy rains and thunderstorms over the north of India. They overturned trees and electricity pylons, covered roofs and destroyed makeshift shelters.
