London / Brussels (dpa) - Following the UK Supreme Court ruling against Parliament's compulsory break in London, the struggle for an orderly exit from the EU on 31 October will be even more difficult. These dates are foreseeable:

September 25: The British House of Commons meets again

September 25: UK expert talks with the EU on changes to the withdrawal agreement in Brussels

September 29 to October 2: Party Congress of the ruling British Conservatives in Manchester.

October 15: In Luxembourg, the remaining 27 EU member states want to discuss the Brexit at ministerial level

17 and 18 October: EU Summit of Heads of State and Government

October 19: deadline in the law against the no-deal Brexit expires. If no exit agreement has been ratified by then, the British Prime Minister must request a postponement of Brexit

October 31: Expected last day of British EU membership
