La Caleta (AP) - On the Argentine Atlantic coast seven killer whales are stranded. Six orcas had been pulled back into the sea by employees, said the Marine Prefecture. A whale died on the beach of La Caleta near Mar del Plata. A ship accompanied the rescued killer whales out to the open sea to prevent them from setting sail again for the coast. Why the whales were stranded, is still under investigation, said the Ministry of the Environment.
