Tokyo - Due to a fire near the launch pad on the southwestern Japanese island of Tanegashima, the launch of a launcher in the direction of the International Space Station ISS has been canceled. The fire broke out at night for no apparent reason, local media citing rocket operator Mitsubishi Heavy Industries reported. A group launch vehicle was to send an unmanned transport probe with supplies for the astronauts - including drinking water, food and batteries - to the ISS.
