Three buildings were completely destroyed by a gas explosion in Antwerp on Tuesday around 12.20 pm. Two wounded, one of whom was serious, were removed from under the rubble. According to the Antwerp police, people are still under the rubble.
The blast took place in Wilrijk, a district in the south of Antwerp. Emergency services are en masse on the spot and victims are searched for with search dogs.
The cause of the explosion is still unclear. Local residents tell Belgian media that work has been carried out in one of the buildings. Local residents have been taken care of in a nearby service center.
