Los Angeles (AP) - The cast for the upcoming US comedy "Love, Weddings and Other Disasters" is top-notch.
Diane Keaton ("Book Club") and Jeremy Irons ("Red Sparrow") are to take the lead, Veronica Ferres ("Salt and Fire") and Diego Boneta ("Rock of Ages") also play along, like the Hollywood producer Nadine de Barros from the company Fortitude International on Thursday confirmed the German Press Agency.
The film's "Variety" and "Hollywood Reporter" had previously reported that director Dennis Dugan ("Children's Heads") will direct the independent film. The comedy revolves around a group of wedding planners who want to create a flawless experience for their clients, while their own relationships are far from perfect. Fortitude plans to introduce the project to shoppers at the Toronto Film Festival in September. Filming is also scheduled to start in September in Boston.
The German actress Veronica Ferres (54, "The Superweib", "Schtonk!") Was given a role in the drug thriller "Dreamland" in February alongside Oscar winner Gary Oldman.
