Osnabrück (AP) - Bremen's new mayor Andreas Bovenschulte is in the dispute over the additional costs of police operations in high-risk games in football for a nationwide solution. The goal is a fund in which the clubs of the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga pay their contribution to the cost of high-risk games and then refund the federal states the money, said the SPD politician of the "New Osnabrücker Zeitung". As the first federal state, Bremen had charged the additional costs for police operations in high-risk games of Bundesliga club Werder Bremen.
