Saturday starts with a blue sky without clouds. At the end of the morning the room can already be 28 degrees. The warm temperatures and the blue sky last for the rest of the day. There is a light or moderate breeze from the east and no precipitation.
After sunset it cools quickly to a degree of 15, due to the lack of wind. On Sunday there is a chance of temperatures between 27 degrees in the northwest to 32 degrees in the southeast.
The high temperatures for this time of year continue until Wednesday. It is expected to be slightly colder again from Thursday.
The National Institute for Public Health (RIVM) has activated the National Heat Plan from Saturday.
RIVM warns especially for groups of vulnerable people, such as the elderly, babies who are chronically ill, overweight people, people in care homes and people in social isolation. They must be alert to dehydration and overheating.
