Berlin (dpa) - Fancy flights, delayed trains, closed roads and several injured: over the middle and south of Germany storms have moved away. Local heavy rain and gusts caused considerable damage. In the district of Offenbach in southern Hesse, the storm raged particularly violently yesterday. 21 people were injured, four of them seriously. Among them, according to a police spokesman was also a child. Most had been injured by falling trees or flying objects. The extent of the damage will be quantified only in the coming days.
