Emergencies: Putin: No nuclear threat after explosion in Russia

Brégançon (AP) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has rejected concerns about a possible nuclear accident after the explosion of a rocket engine in the north of the country. "There is no threat, and no elevated radiation levels were measured," Putin said at a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Brégançon. The situation at the accident site near the northern Russian city of Arkhangelsk is under control. In the beginning of August the explosion in the military port of Severodvinsk, in which seven people died.
