Frankfurt (dpa) - Due to severe weather, train passengers have suffered some hours of delays. For example, the ICE 104 did not arrive in Amsterdam until about four hours late at the Frankfurt train station. From there, people are now brought via Cologne and from there by bus to Amsterdam. It was no longer possible for the ICE 930, which is stuck because of damage to overhead lines and trees in Aschaffenburg. The travelers got taxi vouchers. Among other things, a lightning strike in a signal box in Hessian Walldorf had caused the problems.
