Labor market: Large regional differences in earnings in Germany

Berlin (dpa) - The earnings of workers in Germany continue to be significant regional differences. The 60 districts and cities with the lowest earnings nationwide are in East Germany. In the past year, full-time employees in the Saxon district of Görlitz earned the least, namely 2272 euros gross on average. This is shown by the latest data from the Federal Employment Agency, which the Left has evaluated in the Bundestag. At the top stands the Bavarian Ingolstadt. Here, people earned the most with 4897 euros on average.
