The very deadly mass shooting party in the US state of Texas is being treated as a case of domestic terrorism, the prosecutor reports Sunday. Justice will demand a death penalty against the 21-year-old attacker.
During the shooting, 20 people were killed and 26 injured. Only seven other shootings in recent American history were more deadly.
According to the police chief of El Paso, the city where the shooting took place, the suspect is participating in the investigation. It looks like he bought his weapon legally.
Texas governor Greg Abbott says it is probably a hate crime. Shortly before the attack in a shopping center, the shooter posted a racist text online in which he announced the shooting.
Shortly after the events in Texas, a large shooting took place in the state of Ohio. In Dayton the fire was opened in a nightlife area. Nine people died. 24 others were injured. The 24-year-old shooter was shot by the police.
