Hong Kong (dpa) - Hundreds of thousands of people demonstrated again in a new mass protest in Hong Kong. For the first time, the protest was not only directed against the Hong Kong government, but also directly against China's representation. After the protest march, hundreds moved to the Liaison Office of the Chinese leadership. Some threw the building with eggs and black paint. The emblem of the People's Republic was also polluted. China's state media responded with outrage: "This is a riot," judged the Global Times.
