San José (AFP) At least 19 people have died in Costa Rica following the consumption of sweetened alcohol. A total of 34 people had suffered since the beginning of June, a methanol poisoning, said the Ministry of Health of the Central American country on Saturday. 14 men and five women died of it. Most of them were reportedly homeless and alcoholics.
