Colombo (AFP) The government of Sri Lanka has blamed a local Islamist group for devastating attacks on churches and hotels. Government spokesman Rajitha Senaratne said on Monday that behind the terrorist attacks involving almost 300 dead, the group National Thowheeth Jama'ath (NTJ). According to his statements, Sri Lanka's authorities also check whether the group had "international support". "We do not believe that a small organization in this country can do it all alone," the spokesman said.
