Hundreds of bird watchers traveled to Texel on Sunday and Monday to catch a glimpse of a rare American black-headed warbler.

As far as is known, this is the first time that the songbird has been spotted in the Netherlands.

Theater producers without a subsidy receive 40 million euros from the cabinet

The cabinet is earmarking an extra 40 million euros for the cultural sector.

That money will go to non-subsidized theater producers, ministers Eric Wiebes (Economic Affairs), Wopke Hoekstra (Finance) and Wouter Koolmees (Social Affairs) announced on Tuesday.
