Although Lowlands cannot go through this year due to the outbreak of the corona virus, the organization does not want to let the weekend that the festival take place go unnoticed. An online edition has been put together that also includes performances in the Melkweg in Amsterdam.

The program of Lowlands Free: United, as the online version is called, consists of live sessions from the Milky Way, performances from previous years that can be viewed again and recorded performances by the artists who would enter the festival stage this year.

NPO 3FM and VPRO 3voor12 report on Lowlands Free: United. DJs from the radio station, including Eva Koreman and Tim den Besten, will travel across the country to attend various home parties of Lowlands goers.

The exact line-up of performances will be announced at a later date. Lowlands would take place from August 21-23.

The organization calls on everyone who gives a party to observe the measures of RIVM. The highlights of the festival can be seen on NPO3 on August 29.
