The widow and oldest daughter of former basketball player Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter accident in January, had a number of fan accounts blocked on social media. Vanessa and Natalia Bryant find it too difficult to constantly see photos of their late father and husband Kobe and his daughter Gianna, also killed in the accident, they report in an Instagram Story.
"We love all of you but please understand that we had to do this to be able to heal ourselves," explains the widow and 17-year-old daughter of Bryant, who died at the age of 41. "It's not because we don't appreciate you."
On Tuesday, it was announced that Vanessa Bryant plans to sue a helicopter company and the relatives of a pilot who blames her for husband Kobe Bryant's accident earlier this year. The basketball player's widow believes that the Island Express Helicopters company and pilot Ara Zobayan have been negligent in flying in foggy weather and would claim hundreds of millions.
In April, it was announced that a documentary series of the last season of Bryant's basketball career was released in 2016 with the Los Angeles Lakers. The series is to be comparable to the documentary series The Last Dance about basketball player Michael Jordan and will be released in a few years.
