The NPO will introduce a number of new programs in the coming days to provide support during the corona crisis. For example, from Wednesday 25 March, Bert van Leeuwen will start the daily , in which aid initiatives will be central.

In that program of the EO, "beautiful, hopeful and moving initiatives" pass by that can help people and institutions in the near future. can be seen on NPO1 around 4:45 PM for the next four weeks.

Radio stations 3FM, FunX and KX Radio will also start various initiatives from Monday to pull young people out of boredom. For example, 3FM goes live on Instagram every day for a joint activity, such as sports or a lecture about an artist.

Radio 2 plans an online music festival for Friday evening, March 27, in which artists perform from their own living rooms. Viewers can choose concerts between 6pm and midnight using a block schedule. Artists such as Danny Vera and Elske DeWall start regularly on their own YouTube channels. The full line-up will be announced later.

The radio station broadcasts parts of the performances within its own broadcast, by switching to different 'stages'. A spokesperson informs that the performances will last approximately half an hour each.

Archive images of memorable sports moments and music performances are now being put online via NPO Start. The film offer has also been expanded with various Dutch titles.
