Stand-up comedian Jandino Asporaat is organizing its first outdoor music festival this summer. Asporaat has been organizing I Love Urban festivals for three years now, but on July 18 it will take place outside for the first time, reports the organization on Tuesday.
Asporaat says the following about the festival: "It must become a dream place, a festival where my guests are constantly surprised, have fun with their friends and where we create beautiful memories."
Asporaat wants to emphasize the "summer festival feeling that everyone loves", with popular hip-hop and R&B artists and a fireworks show as a final act.
The line-up will be announced later. Dave Roelvink, Ronnie Flex, Lil 'Kleine and Rolf Sanchez performed at previous editions.
Earlier I Love Urban sold out De Kuip and Rotterdam Ahoy, among others. During the festival, as with previous editions, the comedian is the host.
Ticket sales start on Thursday 27 February at 7 p.m., the minimum age is 18 years.
