Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger joins Warner Bros. Digital Networks produce a series of narrative podcasts, The Hollywood Reporter reports.



Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger joins Warner Bros. Digital Networks produce a series of narrative podcasts, The Hollywood Reporter reports .

The intention is that Rainy Day Podcasts, the company that founded Jagger, will produce seven original podcast series. The approach of the podcasts will vary from fiction to documentary.

Rainy Day Podcasts has already signed contracts with a few screenwriters from the film industry, including John Brancato ( The Game ) and Zack Stentz ( X-Men: First Class ).

"Everything starts with the word," says Jagger and his partners, "We are very much looking forward to working with Warner Bros. to create an environment in which the best writers can work out their passion projects with maximum creative freedom."

In addition to Jagger, Rainy Day Podcasts includes producer Victoria Pearman, producer Steve Bing and writer Josh Olson, who received an Oscar nomination for the film scenario he wrote for the film A History of Violence (2005).
