Former Eurovision winner Wurst is going to live temporarily in Amsterdam

"I am moving to Amsterdam this year. I am really looking forward to it, even if it is only for two months," says Neuwirth. "I want to explore the city, get to know artists and be creative."

Neuwirth in Boulevard previously shared his enthusiasm about Jeangu Macrooy, who is going to the Eurovision Song Contest this year for the Netherlands. "I met him last year at Pride in Amsterdam," said Neuwirth. "He really is very good, as a songwriter and everything. And also in appearance, he looks great!"

In 2014, Neuwirth won the Eurovision Song Contest as Conchita Wurst, with the song Rise Like A Phoenix. At the moment he can be seen as a jury member in the first season of the German reality series Queens of Drag .
