The British girl group Little Mix let Twitter know on Wednesday that they will cancel their tour in Australia and New Zealand, because they want to focus on making new music.

In a message on the social medium the members of the band say: "We are very sad that we have to cancel the upcoming dates for Australia and New Zealand. We are sorry to disappoint our fans."

They also say that it has not been an easy choice to cancel the concerts, but that they need the time to work on new music. The money from the cards that are sold is returned.

The group was formed in 2011 during the eighth season of the English version of talent show X Factor . It is the first and only group to have won the program. After their victory, they scored international hits with songs such as Black Magic and Shout Out to My Ex . Little Mix was at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 25 September.
