RuPaul comes with a new season of RuPaul's Drag Race where famous people will participate. RuPaul's Celebrity Drag Race should be on the American channel VH1 in 2020.
The special season will have four episodes in which a total of twelve stars will receive a makeover to dragqueen. The battle is between three participants per episode. The prize money of the winner is donated to charities.
The participants are accompanied by dragques participating in the regular seasons of the talent show, including Alyssa Edwards, Kim Chi, Trixie Mattel and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo.
The American drag artist RuPaul Charles presented the first season of his talent show in 2009 in which he goes looking for the next drag superstar. Eleven regular seasons and four All Stars seasons with former participants have now appeared.
In the Netherlands the series can be seen on Netflix. It is not yet clear whether RuPaul's Celebrity Drag Race will also appear on the streaming service.
