The Finnish metal band Nightwish, with the Dutch singer Floor Jansen, will give an extra concert in the Ziggo Dome on 23 November 2020. The front woman told that in Pauw on Tuesday. The previously announced show of November 24, 2020 was already sold out.
Floor Jansen has been living in Sweden for years and only recently became really known to the large Dutch public thanks to her participation in the Best Singers program in which she made a big impression.
After the rendition of the song The Phantom of the Opera with Henk Poort, she became completely in the spotlight. The singer was surprised by that: "I did not know Best Singers because I have been away from the Netherlands for a long time and never watch television. But everything exploded as a result of that program. Nice that it lives like this and that many people in the Netherlands now know me."
Jansen gives nine intimate solo concerts in theaters in the Netherlands in January 2020, which have since sold out. With Nightwish, which started as a symphonic metal band but now also incorporates pop and folk into the music, she gives sold-out concerts all over the world.
On November 23 and 24, 2020 Nightwish will be at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. The one from November 24 was already sold out. Ticket sales for the extra show on 23 November started immediately.
