Ozzy Osbourne (70) owes his new album to Post Malone, the singer says in an interview with The Sun.
Osbourne came through Post Malone, actually called Austin Richard Post, in contact with a producer with whom the metal artist recorded his new album. This happened after Osbourne made the song Take What You Want with him at the request of Post.
"The album was only nine songs long, but it was the motivation that I needed," said Osbourne. The Brit had never heard of Post before their collaboration. For Osbourne, this is the first album he has made in ten years.
Osbourne was admitted to the hospital in February 2019 with severe flu that could lead to a lung infection. The singer canceled his performances. "I missed music very much. My fans are very loyal. Without my new album I would still think that I am dying. This has helped me on top."
