Former Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn, Olympic champion of 2010, is getting married to ice hockey player PK Subban.
"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this crazy, kind, handsome, hyperactive and generous man," Vonn writes with a video on Instagram.
The couple met at a sports show in 2017, when Vonn was still in a relationship with Kenan Smith. Before that, the ski star spent more than two years together with top golfer Tiger Woods.
Vonn won various prizes in her skiing career, including 82 world cup competitions. With that she remained only four wins away from the legendary Swedish record holder Ingemar Stenmark. At the beginning of 2019, she announced that she would stop skiing due to physical problems. At the World Championship in Are, Sweden, she won a bronze medal on the descent.
Subban is known for his career as an ice hockey player in the NHL. He currently plays with the Nashville Predators. He also plays for the Canadian national team.
