Waymo: California expands radius for robotaxis. In the future, Waymo's robotaxis will also be allowed to travel to San Francisco Airport, Google headquarters and Sunnyvale in Silicon Valley.
The company has around 250 converted Jaguar electric cars in use. However, the robotaxis are unpopular with many residents because they are known for suddenly stopping and holding up traffic. A few weeks ago, a Waymo car was set on fire by vandals during Chinese New Year celebrations and was completely burned out.
