Digital World Acquisition Corp (DWAC) is about to merge with Truth Social. The social network was founded by the ex-president after his ouster from Twitter in January 2021.
Donald Trump, who owns around 60% of Truth Social, could find himself richer by 3.6 billion dollars, "perhaps even as early as Monday" DWAC is a Spac, an obscure financial vehicle listed on the stock exchange since April 2021. Since January 2024, the action of this Spac has gone from 20 dollars per share to more than 45 dollars.
