Underwater photographer of the Year 2024 is Rafael Fernandez Caballero. He photographed a gray whale, a seahorse, a slug and gannets.
The jury described the whale as a "groundbreaking underwater portrait" Caballero won in the “Portrait’s’ category. The winner will be announced at the end of the year in Rio de Janeiro.
