SpaceX plans to deorbit 100 old Starlink satellites. These devices will begin a gradual decline in their orbit over the course of six months.

It was previously reported that SpaceX will partner with pan-African technology company Jumia Technologies, which will sell its Starlink satellite broadband services in 11 African countries. The SpaceNews portal reports this. It is clarified that spacecraft of earlier versions will be removed from orbit, which have some defects and which may make it impossible for satellites to maneuver in orbit.
